Work is an intricate part of Beatty’s success. The same finely tuned equipment and experienced craftsmen that build our machines are used to machine your parts and repair your equipment.
EQUIPMENT REPAIR – When a piece of your production equipment goes down, we will put forth a 24
hour a day, 7 day per week effort to get you back running. Our millwrights and machinists have the know-how to strip down a unit, locate the problem, fix it, and reassemble. Even if it is not an emergency, we will provide you a strip report and quick turnaround.
DESIGN...REDESIGN...AND BUILD – If you have a problem or project that requires imaginative, yet experienced engineering, we have a staff of engineers to find the best solution.
With the above in mind, our work has extended to accounts across the U.S.A. Our major thrust has been in steel mill repair, mostly in the rolling end.
Over the last thirty years, Beatty Machine has repaired more than one thousand pay-off and take-up devices. OEM’s include Bliss, McKay, United, Blaw Knox, ITAM, Stamco, just to name a few.
Our experience covers link-type and wedge-type equipment. Even though it seems with each application a new or different device is engineered, our Staff and Mechanics have experienced just about all of them. We work with both Hot Mills and Cold Mills. Hot Mill repeat parts include downcoilers, (link & wedge) top and bottom curve plate assemblies, link arms, carryover aprons and gates, wrapper rolls to name a few. Cold Mill Sheet and Tin parts include all pay-off, take-up or tension reels, belt wrappers, coil cars, elevators, coil rotate devices, down enders, upenders, cradle rolls, pods, scrap choppers, chopper arbors and so and so on.
This type of repair work is very
demanding. Failure to provide quality repairs results in line downtime, and consequently a vendor who does not perform is quickly dropped. We have been serving our customers for many, many years.
